We all know what Google is. Google is the most popular search engine right now. It has indexed large amount of contents from around the net and it aims to index all information. I have just clearly realized what they are trying to do. In fact, we can classify all information in this world into 2 classes; public and private. Public contents are the major parts however, they are not the whole parts at all. The key is the later one, private contents.

If we think in more detail what private contents are, they are very simple to identify private contents. Private contents mean that they are only accessible by authorized persons. Actually, most authorized persons are the one who pay for private data. That’s it!

Google was sued so many cases due to the private contents being indexed and available to the public. Most private contents regarding to the sued cases are the content on-sell. If Google lost in the court, they immediately removed those contents from its index server. That’s all but not forever. Google is trying to jump into e-Payment market. You might see some screenshot at . Furthermore, they also added  into the payment cycle. Though, there is no Google dollar yet, what we can see is just normal credit card.

Many ones guess that Google is trying to beat eBay or , I don’t think so. They are just trying to handle commercial contents gracefully to prevent any sue. The point is how to do that. If you have ever tried to look for something in , you will know it. Some videos are free of charge but some ones are not free at all. You need to pay per view. Your money are transferred to Google and then some parts of them are transferred to the content owner.

In short conclusion, Google is going to be a reseller. You will need to pay for some search results if the content owner want it to be. Anyway, you don’t have to worry about the payment, just login to Google account and click on what you want. That’s all. Cool? Sure! This is a win-win solution for all content providers, especially for news agency. News is worth. They have options to publish news to all visitors or just let members to view them. They stil get incoming visitors from Google and also indirect income from Google if they wish.

So Google Base Beta is just the starting point of deploying payment mechanism to the main search results.
