In conclusion, The Institute mission is two-fold: to increase the impact of women on all aspects of technology and to increase the positive impact of technology on the world’s women. Women in our society can be encouraged to embrace engineering and technical professions and learn the skills of leadership. They will use those capabilities to influence the ways in which technology is designed and used, focusing on significant practical solutions to the problems that trouble them-energy, food, illiteracy, environment, elder care, disease control-and a host of other issues confronting our world. As the products and services resulting from their innovations permeate the global market and the capabilities of technical women are demonstrated, new generations of women will follow in their footsteps, in a profession that is increasingly more supportive of their gender.

Unfortunately, I am just a guy. :-)
