Google is entering into automobile and home appliance products. What is the next?

Volkswagen AG and the search engine Google Inc are working together to develop a prototype navigation system for cars, Google founder Larry Page said at the Consumer Electonics Fair in Las Vegas, said Die Welt newspaper.

The aim is to integrate the Google application Google Earth, an electronic world map, into VW cars.

Google software will allow single images from satellites and aerial photographs to be incorporated into a detailed visual navigation system able to zoom in on buildings.
