E-Commerce, including enterprise computing, need Grid technology to fulfill their requirements. First of all, let us start from traditional high-performance computing needs in business sector. Fifth, global-scale database management system is going to be a key component for the next era. Distributed database is one of the popular feature provided by Grid.
