Drupal Thai Translation

This site is powered by Drupal. This site is hosted in Thailand. I am a Thai. That"s why I want this site to be able to provide information in Thai as well as user interface. Fortunately, Drupal is already supported localization. I am keen to translate it myself if noone do it right now. Though I am not the first one who want to translate Drupal into Thai, SoftwareBank seems to be the first one but not released any files yet. Anyway, I am welcome anyone who want to translate. I just want to use it no matter what who translate it.

This project has been submitted to drupal.org so you can access http://drupal.org/node/45878 or http://drupal.org/project/th directly. It is not nearly complete yet so I will not release any official files for now. If you are interesting to try early, get it from CVS at http://cvs.drupal.org/viewcvs/drupal/contributions/translations/th/.

In case you just want to see Drupal Thai in action, you could register to this site and see it in action.

quick step to drupal thai

In order to enable Thai user interface, you only need locale module. mbstring is not necessary too. By default, locale module doesn't translate menu and taxonomy terms. If you want to do so, please try i18n module.

Thai content in drupal

Thai translation in Drupal is still incomplete, there are plenty room for your help. Just install the "locale" module, download the existed translation from Drupal site (you need to choose "cvs", not 4.7.x) and start your work. Contact me or Sugree again when you think your translation is ready. You can translate any module you'd love to.
