Blue screen caused by ialmrnt5.dll
I have got some strange problem with my laptop for a few days after installed driver for Chronos Web Camera PC380 (CamMaestro 4.7 EU build 21). The device worked great with a little lack of light compensation. However, I was unable to remove the directory which contained the setup file. It seemed there was some process that was being opened the directory for unknown reasons. I tried to find that process in Task Manager with no luck.
My bad behavior is I don"t like to shutdown my laptop. Usually, I just hibernate it so it can start to the latest state in shorter time. So I didn"t shutdown to fix the problem at that time and wait for a good time to do that. Last night I tried to watch my video in 3GPP format using K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.47 via Media Player Classic. Unfortunately, it consumed all of my CPU utlization so I decided to reboot my laptop tomorrow morning. However, I got Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) when I tried to hibernate it for the last time. The BSoD indicated problem caused by ialmrnt5.dll. This file is of Intel Extreme Graphics Driver.
My Intel Graphics Card is Intel(R) 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller with BIOS version 3056. I installed its driver version 14.11 about one year ago without problem. In fact, I see BSoD on this laptop only 3 times. This is the third time. I think my problem caused by Cosmos Web Camera, Media Player Classic and the driver itself. Only thing I can do right now is to upgrade my graphics driver to the latest version 14.18.
