A WinXP machine beside me has been infected by a sort of malware. I don't know what it is but I'm sure it is very annoying. Avast! didn't help me to fix this problem. It is not the fault of Avast! because it is totally free of charge and I know it is just an antivirus software. Malware may not be categorized as a virus. Anyway, I can't live with this one anymore because of its annoyance.

I don't have any spyware scanner or else and I don't want to have it run. So I tried HijackThis because it is just a single executable with a few clicks to run and fix my problem. Only thing I have to know is that I have to choose what I want to remove myself. Fortunately, I found RRTCANY.DLL easily. I asked myself what it is? Google told me it might be a malware. I hoped it might what I was looking for. And it was! The machine is now very clean after reboot.
