Flash Player 9 for Linux has just been released. I'm going to install it on my Ubuntu Edgy. You may adapt my instruction to match what you have.

1. Go get it.

2. Extract it.

   tar xzvf install_flash_player_9_linux.tar.gz
   

3. Install it.

   cd install_flash_player_9_linux
   cp libflashplayer.so $HOME/.mozilla/plugins/
   

All done. Restart Firefox to activate the change. If you go to about:plugins and you should find Shockwave Flash 9.0 r31.
