New Professional Themes for Drupal

There are so many criteria to help choosing a CMS. However, I would say that the most important part is impression at the first glance. If you are a developer or designer, you don’t really care about look and feel because you are able to modify it yourself. In fact, you might suppose to modify it to fit your imagination so you choose which is better for modification. Anyway, the situation is totally in most enterprise. One with manager role chooses what he/her want. They usually focus on what they see at first signt. Yes, it’s just look and feel. They don’t care about how good it is.

Drupal is another victim. Its default theme is very simple. This is not drupal’s fault but it is a part of principles. Simple and Extensible. Note that Drupal is an open-source project. If you don’t find what you want, you should contribute. Anyway, it would be better to have a good proof of concept. I mean professional themes to show that Drupal is capable of highly customization in term of look and feel.

The good news is that now we have another 2 look-good themes: nifttyCorners and mollio. Both of them show the possibility of customizing Drupal to make it comparable to other CMS. At least, my boss likes these themes at the first glance.
