Google announced helping to stop spyware and other badware as a co-sponsors of StopBadware.org. That means will become stronger than other webmail and will be smarter.
We"re really excited to tell you about StopBadware.org, a new initiative aimed at combating the growing problem of spyware and other deceptive software. This project is led by Harvard’s Berkman Center and the Oxford Internet Institute to independently evaluate downloadable applications, publish objective information for consumers, and provide an easy web-based way for users to describe problems they"ve encountered. Consumer Reports WebWatch is serving as an unpaid advisor to the effort. Google, along with Sun Microsystems and Lenovo, are co-sponsors. Learn more here.

If you are Google Earth addict, you might notice that Google updated imagery of Google Earth and Google Local by higher resolution images. The announcement mentioned mainly to Google Earth in U.K. and some parts of Google Local. In addition, I just want to clearly state that it updated Thailand too. Now I can see my home clearer than ever.
We"re always trying to improve the imagery in and , but our latest update is bigger than usual. Not only have we added extensive 6-inch imagery for many parts of the U.K., but we"ve updated the Google Local database to match the coverage we have in Google Earth, and (drum roll, please) ... we"ve added two more zoom levels in Google Local"s Satellite mode! Now for many areas around the world you can see a lot more detail than you could before.

Today, Krishna Bharat, the creator of , that Google News has been taken out of beta! For me, I read Google News for a year without notice that it is still in beta. The great part of Google is to allow us to customize things and recommend the next best thing beside the content. That is applied to Google News by now. If you sign up for Personalized Search, the recommended news stories will be highlighted just below the top news stories on the page. Cool!

Gmail has delete button!
At the first announcement, positioned itself as an alternative mail service with identical principle, archive them and never delete. This was because of its large startup space at 1 GB. Anyway, time proved that 1 GB were not enough for junk mails and especially forwarded mails including me. There are lots of unnecessary mails in my mailbox. I don"t want to use it anymore so I definitely want to permanently remove them all as fast as I can.
Last week, I still have to move them to the trash and then remove them out of the trash again.

Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) today announced it has agreed to acquire dMarc Broadcasting, Inc., a Newport Beach, Calif.-based digital solutions provider for the radio broadcast industry.
dMarc connects advertisers directly to radio stations through its automated advertising platform. The platform simplifies the sales process, scheduling, delivery and reporting of radio advertising, enabling advertisers to more efficiently purchase and track their campaigns. For broadcasters, dMarc"s technology automatically schedules and places advertising, helping to increase revenue and decrease the costs associated with processing advertisements.
