Vegetable-oil-powered Cluster
I found a proof of concept of green power at EcoGeek. It's all about making a cluster with processing power of 22.7 GHz using 30A power from vegetable-oil-powered generator.
The article mentioned that the cluster consisted of 31 733-MHz PCs and a dual-processor 1 GHz Pentium III server for use as a master node. The cluster ran a modified version of ParallelKnoppix.
