Status of Integrating BitTorrent 4.4.0 to BTQueue 2006-02-26

I am very exciting to report the progress of integrating BitTorrent 4.4.0 to BTQueue 0.1.0. Last night, BTQueue 0.1.0 was starting to run on my laptop. It didn’t display status correctly yet but instead the thread handling is much more stable than ever.

I hope that it will function correctly by tonight. Anyway, I was so sad that this BitTorrent core doesn’t support download rate limitation. I will add this functionality back again later. By the way, this core does support customizable proxy for tracker protocol and may be not needed any patches.

max_download_rate

Too bad that this is missing in BitTorretn 4.4. I download and install 4.4.1, starting it with "bittorrent --help" brings a lot of command line options...but "max_download_rate" is not there. Sometimes limiting download speed is much needed. Anyway, I am very glad to hear for your progress! Have a nice work on 0.1.0 :)
