I have just compiled and installed Gaim 2.0.0 Beta 4 for a few days. However, I just have a chance to chat via IRC in local IRC server in Thailand. Surely, the encoding is not UTF-8. Exactly, it is TIS-620 for Thai characters. Gaim 2.0.0 Beta 4 suddenly crashed. It always crashs whenever I tried to join into any channel with Thai characters in them. So I consulted Gaim and found a bug report looking very similar to my case. It indicated that Beta 5 should fix this problem. Oops! Beta 5 has just released last night.

It has been for so long since the last official release of BTQueue, 0.1.3, and also the ongoing development in a seperate branch. As I mentioned earlier, BTQueue is moving to a new engine, BitTorrent 4.20.9. I would like to report the latest status of this branch.

There are so many problem that may cause publickey authentication scheme in ssh (or more specific, openssh) to not work properly. Usually, I have never encountered this problem for so long. I have just found this problem again in fresh CentOS 4.4.

If you are using flashplugin-nonfree in Ubuntu Dapper from backports like me, you might see some error according to post-installation script failed.

I recommend all you to upgrade as soon as possible because there are multiple vulnerabilities in current versions.

I have seen the first problem in using [NPACI Rocks 4.2][]. The symptom is I was unable to submit just a basic job to [SGE][] because of following error in standard error file.

I have heard that Gaim 2.0 beta 3 has been improved a lots so I would like to try it out on my Ubuntu laptop. Anyway, I'm too lazy to compile it myself because I found [a helpful thread][2]. Well, it is still beta. Don't expect too much. After installing for a few hours, I have downgraded back to 1.5.0. Below is my procedures to install 2.0 beta 3 and to install 1.5 back then.
