Eventually, Thunderbird 1.5 released after long waiting. It has been my most favorite e-mail client for 2 years. There are so many features introduced in this version plus improvements.

1. Automatic update
2. Anti-phishing
3. Podcasting
4. Integration with server side spam filter
5. Auto save as draft
6. And more

For more information about what’s new in Thunderbird 1.5, read Release Notes. Actually, most parts of this version are inherited from Firefox 1.5. The most interesting feature of Thunderbird 1.5 is Podcasting support. However, it would be implemented in Firefox instead.

I am waiting for Sunbird to support alternative era.
