Monitoring blog and tracking AdSense clicks
Are you own any blogs? Do you want to track your blog statistics? There are so many things you might want to know to improve user experiences. For example, browsers, platforms, geography, screen resolution, post views, comments summary, comments by post, categories, adsense clicks, referrers, search engines, outbound links and many more. Some of these metrics are just for blogs, e.g., posts, comments and categories. So simple page counters don’t fit into this duty.

After blogging for 4 months, I have finally got my first earning from program. It is not as much as my income but it is enough to run this site for 2 years.
Some might say that many successors had been blogging as their main job. They usually get earning from Google AdSense and other affiliate programs. I don’t want to blog as my main job. I love my job. I love programming. Actually, I must say that I only blogged about my day-to-day experiences. If I don’t have my job, I may not have anything to blog. As you might see slogan of this site, "Share Know-How". I just want to share my experience and also my open-source works. In other words, Google AdSense indirectly sponsors me to contribute open-source programs.

What Percentage Does Google Make from AdSense?
Whenever a visitor clicks on a Google ad that a webmaster displays on his site, Google gets a percentage of the revenue the webmaster makes. So how big is the piece of pie Google takes for itself? Google doesn’t really tell so far, but according to the New York Times today, it’s about 78.5%:
“Google.com and the company’s foreign search sites contribute more to Google’s bottom line than AdSense, because for every dollar the company brings in through AdSense and other places that distribute its ads, it pays roughly 78.5 cents back to sites like Digital Point that display the ads.”
