You know sugree, Over the last few months I've learned some very interesting stuff from your reading the postings on your site, not just about Drupal. I thank you for that. Yesterday, I read this post http://drupal.org/node/73389 over at Drupal and thought it's an interesting idea. Since nobody at Drupal seems to know the answer to this one, I'd thought I'd ask here since you always have the answers! Is it actually possible to take blocks from one Drupal site and post them on another non-drupal site.

Hello all-knowledgable sugree, I just came across a few modules for bit-torrent in Drupal. Do you know how they work? Have you tried them at all? What do they actually do? thanks, larry

Hello sugree, I was fiddling with the drupal ping module that comes with the install and I could not get it to work at all. I get the "fsockopen(): unable to connect to rpc.pingomatic.com:80 in C:\Programme\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\Drupal\includes\common.inc on line 322." error along with "Failed to notify pingomatic.com (site)" in my logs. I saw your posting saying that technorati does not recommend pingomatic anymore because of downtime. Then I saw your patch for 4.7 at http://drupal.org/node/11148. Does this solve the problem? Does this allow the drupal ping module to work?

I was at Drupal and I saw this http://drupal.org/files/fosdem-big.jpg . The last word pertains to your IP-to-country module. Nice work. These days it's a very nice feature to have. Good job my man! larry
