Search Keywords Module

IP to Country 1.0 and Search Keywords 1.0 have been released

I have contributed 2 modules and a translation at Drupal such as IP to Country (drupal.org), Search Keywords (drupal.org) and Thai Translation (drupal.org) for a year. However, it seems I forgot to release such a stable release. I apologize for this missing piece. It is because I am too familiar with development but not releasing and I have no exact plan for next release. Thanks to the issue posted today to point me out about this missing piece.

Porting ip2cc and search_keywords to Drupal 5

Eventually, I continue my tasks as a module maintainer to port my modules, ip2cc and search_keywords to Drupal 5. I would like to announce that these modules are ported to Drupal 5. If you have time, please give it a try to upgrade.

AOL, IOL and MyWebSearch in Search Keywords Module

I have just noticed a few entries in referrers log at howforge.com. They seems to be a kind of search engine. There are only 3 identical entries from AOL, IOL, and MyWebSearch. Let me explain more detail about them.

  1. AOL has a very unique URL pattern which I don’t think other search engine will never have something like this. Actually, it contains the word "aolcom".
  2. IOL, instead, uses CGI standard and it doesn’t utilize feature of aliasing like Google do. In contrast, IOL add "/cgi-bin" to the URL.

Search Keywords Module

Search Keywords Module is written for extracting keywords from referers which are major search engines, e.g., and Technorati. This module aims to help site administrators to see how visitors find your content based on search keywords or tags.

If IP to Country Module exists and is enabled, visitor"s country flag will be shown in addition to just IP address for each entry.

This module is submitted to drupal.org and waiting for approval.
