Last night I saw something weird at Codenone. Actually, it was just a blank page returned from Drupal. PHP was set maximum memory limit to 64MB. It should be sufficient for a small site like Codenone. I noticed that the blank page often occurred on pages with comments. Below are my investigations.

1. Blank page will occur only on some nodes with some amount of comments.
2. There was no logs in Drupal.
3. There was no logs in virtualhost level.

วันนี้ลองมาอธิบายคำว่า Pythonic กันดีกว่า พอดีมีคนถามที่Codenone แล้วตอนนั้นก็ตอบแบบสั้นๆ ช่วงนี้พอมีเวลาเลยลองมาศึกษาให้ถ่องแท้ดีกว่า ผมเองก็ไม่รู้จะอธิบายยังไงเหมือนกัน คล้ายกับว่า Pythonic เป็นปรัชญาชนิดหนึ่ง เรียบง่าย ตรงไปตรงมา เข้าใจอย่างไรก็เป็นแบบนั้น ไม่มีความซับซ้อน บางคนก็บอกว่ามันคือ pseudocode ที่ทำงานได้จริงๆ ผมเคยลองเขียน pseudocode ด้วย Python มันก็ดูสะอาดดี แต่ก็มีหลายคนไม่ชอบ เพราะไม่มีปีกกา {} หรือ begin end แล้วไม่สบายใจ เหมือนชีวิตขาดอะไรไป โชคดีที่ผมไม่ใช่คนแรกที่สงสัย มีคนพยายามตอบหลายครั้ง ผมชอบคำอธิบายที่ Python Secret Weblog มากที่สุด เพราะมีตัวอย่างชัดเจน อย่างน้อยก็เห็นแล้วร้อง อ๋อ ไม่ต้องเสียเวลาจินตนาการ

There are 2 editors in this world I would like to try. The first one is Vi which is my favorite editor for years. The second one is Emacs which many people suggest me to try for getting another experiences. I have tried Emacs many times with no luck. I was unable to use it as I wish. Even getting out was not easy for me. Now the time has come for my next chance. This time, I have advisors and supervisors to help me get through this trouble startup to change my life. Don't worry, Vi is still my first choice on remote connection via ssh. Thanks to all expertists at Codenone.

Actually, I have never used GeSHiFilter for so long since I switched to marksmarty. It is possible to use them both simultaneously but I was too lazy to add

or   around the code. Anyway, GeSHiFilter is very useful for code discussion site, e.g., Codenone. That's why I ported this module so far. In addition, this site also has some posts using GeSHiFilter.

ตอนนี้ใช้ Drupal 5 RC1 และเปิดใช้ Drupal ID ซึ่งทำให้สมาชิกของ Blognone สามารถล็อกอินเข้าใช้ระบบได้ทันทีโดยใช้ @blognone.com เช่นของผม และใช้รหัสผ่านเดียวกัน เข้าไปครั้งแรกอย่าลืมเข้าไปกำหนด e-mail กับ timezone กันซะหน่อย จะได้ไม่พลาดของดีทีหลัง
