I have used an all-in-one ADSL wireless router LevelOne WBR-3402A at my home for a few years. It serves me very good until last month. The router often hangs up during the night once a day and continuously increases. Last night, it hanged up and never come back again. Goodbye my friend!

Anyway, my life have to go on. My new target is a broadband wireless router Linksys WRT54GL which L means Linux. The firmware of this router is based on linux and it is opensource. I can do many things later on.

4. วันเวลาสอบมีเขียนระบุไว้ในใบสมัคร

วิธีขอจดชื่อนี่น่าสนใจ บางคนซื้อเอาไปขายต่อแบบจงใจ บางคนก็ซื้อเผื่อไว้กะโชคดีไปสองโรงเรียน พอดีมีอีกโรงเรียนใกล้ๆ กันก็ขายและสอบพร้อมๆ กัน ถ้าได้เวลาเยื้องกัน เช่น เช้า สาย บ่าย อาจจะโชคดีได้ไปทั้งคู่ แต่ถ้าเวลาชนก็ยังขายต่อได้ เอาทุนคืนนิดหน่อย 500 บาทก็ไม่น้อยนะ ได้ซัก 300 บาทก็กินข้าวได้หลายมื้อ

Today I have to investigate network related problem that caused some networks were usable for a moment. This problem was occurring at remote site so I didn't have physical access to anything. What I have is just an account on the Linux router for the NAT network in training room. The application relies on web services technology so it is absolutely pure TCP. There are so many problem regarding this investigation. The coordinator don't understand the lower level of network so I can't ask too much information. Actually, I have to try by myself. At a glance, I would like to know if the connection from the client to the web services container is success or not. So I need to have a kind of sniffer.

Ubuntu is one of the most popular in recent years. I like Ubuntu over other distributions because of its near-constant release date, says 6 months. However, 6 months seem to be too short for enterprise applications. They don't want to upgrade OS every 6 months or so. That is a reason why Dapper Drake must be long term support. However, there is another important reason between Dapper, Edgy and later release including the latest Feisty.

I have just assigned to find a solution for building an academic conference site as quick as possible. I used to be authors and also reviewer assistant but I have never been an organizer. This is my first time in this area. Anyway, it seems there are many softwares available right now. Below are just a list I found in Google.

1. BYU Paper Review System - This one is very old and maybe obsolete for so long. The most interesting thing I found is that it was written in C as external PHP module.
2. MyReview - It has just released the latest feature-rich version last month.

I don't have much time to find more but it seems MyReview is one of the most popular player. Anyway, my favorite CMS is Drupal and most of our sites are Drupalized. It would be nice if we can build an academic conference site using Drupal. And I found Conference module for Drupal.
